I was born and raised near the River Thames in Oxfordshire, England. Over on the other side of the world, beautiful Bournda with its pristine beaches and native forests has been my home since 2010 - I warmly acknowledge the Djiringanj people who have been living on and caring for this land for many thousands of years. I pay my respects to Elders, past, present and emerging, and celebrate how they value strengthening a child’s connection with family through stories, culture and traditions.*
